Consumer Awareness Information
AFP believes that one of the primary long-term ways which Affiliates
can help to protect their revenue is to educate their shoppers about
A.S.A.'s. Most people are aware of the large amount of misinformation
available on the Internet related to spyware and Adware as well
as how many times this misinformation includes affiliate specific
content.
AFP will be providing educational information written specifically
for the consumer providing them with a better understanding of A.S.A.'s
and how to protect themselves from unwanted installations on their
computer.
AFP will make this information available for free. We are working
on several delivery methods so that affiliates (or anyone else who
wishes to use the information) can chose the best method to integrate
the information into their web sites.
